Thank You - Philips!
03-05-2010 - Company Donation - When Barbara decided to leave Philips and start volunteering for DCF in Ecuador, her colleagues at Philips were very enthusiastic about her choice. From the HR department Holland, she received Euro 250,00. The direct colleagues of Barbara brought together a total of Euro 110,70. Both donations were a real surprise for Barbara, who did not know anything about the initiatives to collect sponsor money.
The most important activity of the Child 'N Family center in Ambato is the therapeutic and psychological work with the children and their families. To be able to execute the therapies in the best way, we need more professional materials. With the donations of Philips we will purchase special dolls to use during sessions with children who are victim of sexual abuse.
We would like to thank the colleagues of Barbara at Philips for their contributions to the project.
