18-08-2011 - Organization Funds - Through Luc Martens, father of our Secretary Ine, DCF was put in contact with a Dutch association which supports small projects in Third World countries. The organization granted us a donation about a year ago for the expansion of the Child ‘N Family center in Nepal. Following their positive reactions towards our execution and feedback of that project, Ine sent them a second request. This time for the refurbishment of the renewed therapy building in CNF Ecuador.
After a round of questions from the Board, Ine got the chance to explain the request during the members’ committee on 18 August 2011. Her story was received enthusiastically and the grant of Euro 6.000,00 was immediately approved by the members.
As always, DCF will spend the contribution in a responsible way: this time for furniture and materials for the therapy building.
