24-09-2010 - Organization Funds - Through the father of our secretary Ine, DCF was put in contact with a Dutch association which supports small projects in Third World countries. Goal is to establish direct contact with populations regardless of race, belief or politics, improving daily circumstances of specific communities in a structural way. The low profile organization grants funds for one-off expenses and DCF was looking for such resources because of the expansion of the Child 'N Family center in Nepal.
After a written application for funding and some questions from their Board, Ine presented the project in the association's members' committee on 23 September 2010. The request for a second round of start-up costs for our Child 'N Family center in Nepal was immediately approved by the members.
DCF is very thankful for the almost Euro 5.000,00 we received for CNF Nepal. The amount will be spent on more furniture and educational materials in the center. This allows us to expand to 60 children in May 2011.
