30-06-2011 - Organization Funds - The Riviera Bridge Club in Deurne was founded in 1954 offering a setting to bridge players in which they can develop themselves and enjoy their mind sport.
Yael Topiol is a member of the Club and organizes a yearly benefit tournament in the Pentecost week-end. This year, DCF was suggested by Veerle Quix and selected as the charity.
The registration fee was Euro 15,00 per person, exactly the amount which can feed one child in our center during a whole month. But that was not all: Yael also organized a tombola of which the whole return was for the center in Nepal. And also the owners of the Club contributed: part of the income of consumptions went to Nepal.
On 30 June our Secretary Ine received a check of Euro 2.405,00! A fantastic contribution which will go directly to our center in Nepal.
