Thank You - Barbara, Friends & Family!

10-05-2010 - Private Initiative - Before Barbara left The Netherlands to volunteer for DCF, she got very enthusiastic feedback of the people around her. During various get-togethers, her friends gave her small presents to make sure she wouldn t forget Holland during her stay in Ecuador. Furthermore, they gave her contributions for the project in Ambato. The day before leaving, Barbara s met her family to say goodbye. And they also donated money for the Child 'N Family center. In total, Barbara received Euro 153,50 for the project.

In both programs of the Child 'N Family center, therapies with children and their families are crucial. Thanks to the individual and group sessions, we are able to realize family reunion and independency. The donations of Barbara's family and friends will be spent on extra materials to be used by the psychologists during the sessions.

We would like to thank Barbara for her enthusiasm and involvement as a volunteer in the center. And of course we are grateful to her family and friends for their financial support!
