Thank You - Fons & Margreet!

12-10-2009 - Private Initiative - Beginning October 2008, Margreet and Fons left for a world trip of a year. They started in Mexico and the first six months they travelled over land through Middle and South America. In Ecuador they met our secretary Ine and got familiar with the Daniëlle Children's Fund. After that, they took some time to volunteer in a small school in Peru through another organization. Beginning 2009, Fons and Margreet flew to Indonesia, where they spent their second half year discovering South East Asia.

At the end of their trip, Fons and Margreet had some money left to donate to charities. They decided to divide that money over four foundations, of which they personally had met people during their travelling year. Foundations they trust and of which they know they will spend their gift in a good way, directly in the projects.

Although they had known Ine only for a very short time, Fons and Margreet had a really good feeling about that meeting. And that is why they decided to donate part of their charity money to DCF. We would like to thank these two social responsible travelers very much for their donation of Euro 300,00! And we guarantee that the amount will be spent well in our Child 'N Family centers!
