Thank You - Joke's Colleagues & Friends!
12-06-2010 - Private Initiative - Joke Martens, sister of our Secretary Ine, has been asking friends and colleagues for secondhand stuff for over two years. Her friends Indra and Mirjam Spierts have regularly donated children's clothes and shoes and various games. Those gifts have safely reached the children of the Child 'N Family center in Ecuador.
Some colleagues of Joke at MOVISIE have also given generously: Fatos Genc two bags full of teddies; Judith van de Haterd various toys, Pierre Schoonhoven and Marieke van Breukelen loads of clothes and some dolls for the puppet theater. The clothes, toys and puppets now have a useful second live in the Child 'N Family center in Ecuador. And the majority of the teddy bears got into the plane Ine to Nepal. The kids in the Child 'N Family center couldn t believe their eyes; they received their first real toys with open arms!
