Thank You - Kath & Blanca!
12-01-2012 - Private Initiative - Kath Moore and her friend Blanca Fernandez headed to Ecuador to climb the beautiful mountains Cotopaxi and Chimborazo. Another goal was to raise money for two charities: Macmillan Cancer Support and Danielle Children’s Fund.
Macmillan Cancer Support is a UK organization, and improves the lives of people affected by cancer. They provide practical, medical, emotional and financial support and push for better cancer care.
Kath and Blanca also decided to do something for Ecuadorian children in need. Their travel organization Andeanface strongly believes that tourism should support the local people of the areas that they visit. Kath and Blanca totally agree on this, came in contact with us and decided to support our Child ‘N Family center in Ambato.
Kath and Blanca hope to raise as much as possible for these organizations working for causes close to many people’s hearts. We are very thankful for the involvement of these two inspirational adventurous and good-hearted ladies.
