Thank You - Loes!
15-02-2010 - Private Initiative - In November, Loes - sister of our Chairman Helma - came to Ecuador during two weeks. Besides family visits and various touristic outings, she also stopped at the Child 'N Family center in Ambato. Loes is an active person full of energy and she couldn't just sit still while she was in the center.
Together with our concierge, she was busy in the garden for a few hours to cut the grass by hand. A reliable but not very efficient way of working. That is why she decided to donate a decent lawn mower for the Child 'N Family center. In February 2010 the machine was bought and the concierges are very happy with it. The maintenance of the lawn became much easier and it saves a lot of time. This is a good thing, because now José and Segundo have more time for their new tasks, like grocery shopping and cleaning the homework and play areas, which are added to their to-do list since the start of the temporary institutional custody program.
