Thank You - Marieke & Bas!
15-03-2009 - Private Initiative - When Marieke and Bas were on holidays in Ecuador, they met our volunteer Ine in the Andes village Chugchilán. The three of them talked a lot about the foundation and the DCF projects in Ecuador.
A few months later, back in The Netherlands, Marieke and Bas were preparing their wedding and decided to look for a charity to transfer money to as a marriage gift. They remembered the interesting and nice discussions in Chugchilán and got in contact with Ine again. After some e-mails, Marieke and Bas offered to donate their gift to the children in-need of Ambato.
In March 2009, Marieke and Bas had a beautiful wedding day and spent a great honeymoon in South America, visiting Buenos Aires and Torre del Paine. To make it all complete, the merrily wed couple donated Euro 1.500,- for our Child 'N Family center in Ambato!
We are very grateful for their generosity and we are extremely thankful that they shared their happiness with the Ecuadorian kids who form part of our project in Ambato.
