31-05-2008 - Private Initiative - In May 2008, four enthusiastic British girls volunteered during a month in the Ecuadorian Andes village Chugchilán, through DCF. They gave English classes in the primary school and fabricated didactical materials - like alphabets and number cards - for in the class rooms.
Before leaving Europe, they raised money during a farewell party: Euro 750,- was donated! Just the right amount to be able to construct a little, simple house for two siblings of our Child 'N Family center in Ambato, who did not have a roof above their heads.
