Thank You - Yvonne van Esch!
10-04-2011 - Private Initiative - On 13 March, the day of Yvonne van Esch's 65th birthday, she surprised our volunteer Barbara during her birthday party. In stead of gifts, Yvonne had asked for contributions for a good cause. And her niece Barbara, who is volunteering for DCF, appeared to be that charity!
From our website, Yvonne van Esch would like to thank again her family and friends for all the gifts. "Without you, it wouldn't have been possible. The thought that the children and all others from DCF are so happy with the donation, makes me here in Holland (far away from Ecuador) very happy. My heart glows! And the donation has reached its right destination. Also in name of my husband Martin, I wish DCF all the best. (Aunt) Yvonne van Esch in Vught NL."
Yvonne told Barbara that she could decide herself how the money (Euro 150,00) would be spent best. After buying some underwear and socks for the kids, Barbara will use the rest of the donation to purchase a good radio/CD-player for the temporary custody program. It will be used for relaxation exercises, but also to dance or to listen to stories.
