Thank You - Atenas Seven Graders!

16-12-2011 - School Contribution - In total 47 students of the seventh grade of local school Atenas came to visit our center, together with three teachers and two mothers. As part of their Social Personal and Health Education they support our project regularly, learning how to become an active and responsible citizenship in society developing certain values and skills. Through door to door sales, they collect money for our center and then decide how to support us.

This time they visited us on a Friday to spend some time with our children in the Christmas spirit. Child caretaker Carlos gave them a nice welcome, thanking the kids for their involvement and friendship. Then four girls of Atenas did a little musical show, followed by some games. After eating a lot of crisps and cake which the students brought with them, all 11 children of the program received a Christmas present. DCF and the local team in Ambato are very grateful for the enthusiastic and spontaneous support of the Atenas students!
