Thank You - Students of Bishop Stopford!

01-08-2010 - School Contribution - Bishop Stopford School is a forward thinking and high achieving learning community, with strong roots and long-standing traditions. The school seeks to provide an outstanding education for all students, and encourage all no matter what their starting points to achieve as highly as they can. The Christian ethos of the school underpins all of their work and key words are: faith, justice, responsibility, truth, compassion.

Two groups of Bishop Stopford came to Ecuador and one group with 15 students visited the Child 'N Family center in Ambato. Besides assisting in construction works, the students also played with the children of our center. Favorite game was the grab bag: the students filled a plastic bag with small gifts to be drawn unseen by the kids. The boys and girls couldn't wait to grab the lollypops, candy and balloons!

DCF would like to thank the students of Bishop Stopford School for their participation in the project and for the sleeping mats and numerous toys they left for the children!
