Thank You - British School Quito!
20-11-2011 - School Contribution - The parents of group 3 of The British School Quito took the initiative to visit our Child ‘N Family center in Ambato. On Saturday 19 November around 35 people (parents and children) arrived in the center at midday. While the parents received an extensive tour and explanations about the project from Helma and Ine, the kids were playing outside. This was followed by a nice lunch (yummie chicken!), offered by the visitors. Finally, the whole group played several games together and then 10 children from the British gave a small musical performance.
It was a beautiful day and we were happy to show our project to these enthusiastic people. Furthermore, they brought a lot of second hand clothes, toys and books and products like shampoo, soap, tooth brushes and tooth paste. The Social & Cultural Committee informed us that they are planning to continue the support in the future.
