Thank You - Students of Ilkley Grammar!

07-08-2010 - School Contribution - Ilkley Grammar School is about high standards and high aspirations. The school is proud to have a long and strong tradition of high standards, and excellent results. Good discipline, care and consideration are the basis and the school is committed to working closely together with the parents to see students enjoy school and achieve.

After approximately eighteen busy months of fund raising and team bonding activities and events, 16 students of Ilkley Grammar were ready to leave on their expedition to Ecuador, beginning August 2010. The team had managed to raise the funds to finance this three week expedition, including social work in the Child 'N Family center in Ambato. They worked hard in the project and ended their stay with a music circle game, including some small prizes for the children. It resulted to be a unique experience, which they will never forget.

DCF is very grateful that these young students have shared their time with the children and that they left two bags packed with toys and teddy bears!
