Christmas in CNF Ecuador

In a beautiful by themselves decorated center, the children and personnel members have celebrated Christmas.

In the Child 'N Family center in Ecuador, the children were closely involved in preparing for Christmas. Almost all decorations were made by themselves: green-red garlands, drawings and other art works. The center is fully decorated and to make it all complete every personnel member brought a statue for the nativity scene.

On 22 December Christmas was celebrated in the center. A special occasion, for which we also invited family members of all nine children. Director Estuardo started the celebration with a story from the Bible. After that the game program started: volleyball, various races and musical chairs. The children, families and personnel enjoyed the morning very much and it was fantastic to see how everyone played together and cooperated in their teams.

After playing, all personnel members and students helped preparing the BBQ. It was a beautiful afternoon, so the Christmas meal was eaten outside. First, Helma read a story from the Children's Bible and thanked the whole team for their commitment and involvement during the past year. After that, the kids and staff enjoyed the BBQ!

It was a wonderful day: with, by and for everyone. A Christmas celebration we will never forget!
