Annual Meeting CNF Nepal

CNF Nepal organized a big meeting to present the project and its programs to all layers of the community.

On Saraswoti day, the Festival of Education, our Child ‘N Family center organized a special meeting in a community hall in Jorpati.
Around 500 people participated; all our staff members, the complete Board of FUNDCCIN (the local foundation), parents and children, neighborhood people from various social levels, representatives of the Local Education Office (LEO), and other people who were interested.

Goal of the meeting was to give an introduction on the project and its two programs to the community. Our Director Chooda explained in detail the children’s daycare program and the social family awarenes program. All people were very enthusiastic about the activities we offer for the children and the systematic approach we use with the families.
A representative of the LEO and other local authorities also gave speeches about the center, the children and the personnel. They mentioned that our quality services are an excellent example in the field of child education, care and development; they even suggested that the model should be extended to other parts of Nepal for more children in need.

Result of the meeting is that people now better understand what CNF stands for; they really appreciate the work that we are doing. Furthermore, we now have a stronger network and an even more positive reputation than before.

We would like to thank all the personnel, who worked so hard to make this a memorable event. Also we would like to thank the parents who assisted in cooking rice pudding and making the kid’s program a big success: the children gave a very nice traditional dance performance!
