Saraswati Puja CNF Nepal

On 15 February we honored Saraswati, the Goddess of Learning, with a celebration in the Child ‘N Family center.

Saraswati is regarded as the Goddess of Learning & Knowledge. She is worshiped as the source of intelligence, innovation and creativity; she is the creator of art, music, science and all education.

Every year in our Child ‘N Family center, we organize a Saraswati Puja to honor the Goddess and to celebrate the benefits and importance of education with a small cultural program.
As usual, all staff, parents, children and the Board Members of our local foundation were present. Furthermore, we invited some community people with as special guest of honor a representative of the Local Education Office.

After some speeches and a folkloric show, the guests distributed rewards and prizes. The staff members were honored for their involvement and hard work; some children received a small prize for their study performances; and various parents were acknowledged for their commitment with the center and the social awareness program.
It was a nice get-together which intensified the relations with the neighborhood and strengthened the positive reputation of our center.
