The last volunteer group, who came to visit CNF Ambato this summer, consisted of sixteen students of Ilkley Grammar School in England.

Fifteen students of the Bishop Stopford School in England have assisted in construction works in CNF Ambato and on their last morning they took the children swimming.

During three days, 15 students of Saint Catherine's School from England visited CNF Ambato: they did construction works and played a lot with the kids.

After being operational for 7 months, we have received 18 children in our temporary institutional custody program. Eleven of them have already left and are still being monitored closely.

Since February 2008, the Financial Support Program in Quito, Ecuador, has stopped.
Many families participating in the program in Quito became too dependent on us without
showing personal initiative anymore.
Some extremely poor families in Ambato
will still receive help and be part of the center we have there.
01-07-2007 - Construction Ambato Started
The reconstruction of the main building in our center in Ambato has started. We are improving the facilities for therapies and workshops, for offices and for the children who in the future will temporarily stay with us.
