Child 'N Family center Ecuador - The "Centro del Niño y su Familia" in Ambato works closely together with the governmental institutions involved in the protection of children. The center has two programs:

Systemic Family Services -  The members of our local technical team (social worker, psychologists and family therapists) mostly work within the home environment. We offer children in-need and their multi-problematic families our socio-psychological, medical and educational services and we organize group workshops in the center. 

Temporary Institutional Custody - We offer temporary custody to at-risk children from 3 till 12 years old, who are sent to us by the Children's courts or police. In those cases we offer immediate protection, because they are street children or victim of maltreatment and abuse. In the Child 'N Family center they receive a roof above their head, food, care and education. In the meantime we work with their families to re-establish the link between the child and its family. We guide the families while they are resolving their own problems until they can take care of their own sons and daughters.
